This job guide is written based on the interview process undergone by Mr. Pratik Dande from MCT's Rajiv Gandhi Institute Of Technology.
Mr. Pratik Dande is currently working at TCS, Mumbai and he graduated in the year 2021 with a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering. He practiced a lot and studied the exam pattern in detail not the questions- the pattern!
Here's the valuable knowledge he shared with us after asking a series of questions:
1. What type of job can a person get after reading your experience?
Anser- Job related to IT Field specifically in MNC companies like TCS, Infosys etc
2. What resources did you use to prepare for your interview?
Answer:
For aptitude test refer which covers all the Quantitative aptitude as well as reasoning topic questions. I used a standard book for Quantitative aptitude as "Quantitative Aptitude for Competitive Examinations by R.S.Aggarwal".
If you don't have sufficient time to prepare for aptitude questions you can watch videos of Freshersworld, Prepinsta, CareerRide, and many more which are freely available on YouTube. (Every channel is linked, just click on the one you want )
It's better if you know more than one programming language. I used "Let Us C by Yashwant Kanetkar" for the preparation of the C language.

For the reasoning part, I don't really follow books but yes if your vocabulary is good you can easily crack the reasoning part also reading newspapers (The Hindu, etc) can also help to improve vocabulary.
3. When did you start preparing for the interview?
Answer: 2 weeks before

4. What problems did you face while preparing for the interview?
Answer: I don't have a strong command of programming at that time so preparing the topics regarding C language is the main task in front of me. At the same time, I have to brush up on aptitude skills within less time because in interviews some times they asked small aptitude questions. In the same way, one must be prepared with typical HR and MR questions that are easily available on the internet.

5. How did you overcome the challenge?
Answer: Daily Solving aptitude questions. Updating myself with recent technology news.
6. What was the 3 interview question asked to you related to your domain?
Answer:
what is a dangling pointer?
What does the C language program consist of?
What are the recent development in your(Mechanical and IT) field?
7. Any advice you would like to give?
Answer: Always prepare every topic don't leave anything behind also have confidence in yourself.
